VLUK take pride in delivering consistently excellent educational opportunities to all learners and having a solid foundation of tutors who are unwavering in their professional commitment and who strive for continued development. These characteristics are aligned with my own core principles of always striving to be the best and making continued progress. The foundation of these principles and a passion for education and sport have been the motivating factors of my career and indeed life as a whole. On graduating from Loughborough University, I attended the University of Oxford to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Education followed by a Masters Degree. During that time, I played rugby for the ‘Blues’ and Captained the Club in the annual Varsity Match at Twickenham. A period of professional rugby followed the completion of my education and I was fortunate be able to peruse my sporting passion as a full time job. Highlights included, representing and captaining the World famous Barbarians, playing representative rugby for England and travelling the world. The World of Education remained my burning passion and for the past 16 years I have been working throughout the education sector as a teacher and leader in top UK schools, 6th form Colleges, private and bespoke education programmes and education training provision. Aside from work and sport, my family are my passion. I am married to Tova and together we have a 5 year old daughter, Flossie. I feel proud and privileged to be joining VLUK and I look forward to using my experience, expertise and energy to ensure that our learner and staff have outstanding teaching and learning experiences. In my eyes, excellence is our start point and our destiny is limitless".
